Elizabeth Ann Chapman

Elizabeth Ann Chapman, 78, of 35 Adams Road died yesterday at Sweet Brook Health Care Center.

Born in Williamstown on June 27, 1929, daughter of Charles E. and Minnie Hunter Garrison, she was a 1948 graduate of the former Williamstown High School.

Mrs. Chapman was a homemaker.

She was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Williamstown and a member of the Williamstown Friendship Club.

Her husband, John Chapman, died in 2002.

She leaves a son, Greg Chapman of Stephentown, N.Y., and a granddaughter.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- Graveside Services for Elizabeth Ann Chapman, who died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007, will be conducted Friday at 3 p.m. at the family plot in Southlawn Cemetery, South Williamstown, by the Rev. Pat McHugh, pastor of Williamstown First United Methodist Church.

Memorial donations are suggested for Williamstown First United Methodist Church, in care of FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, WEST CHAPEL, 521 West Main St. North Adams. She also leaves a daughter-in-law, Sarah Seiler; and a granddaughter, Amanda Chapman, who is attending college in Boston.

She was predeceased by a brother, Anthony Garrison, and a sister, Ella Garrison. Mrs. Chapman was a devoted mother.
