Stephen Peter Belouin, 39, of 34 May St. died yesterday at home.
Born in Eatontown, N.J., on Oct. 1, 1968, son of Peter and Mary Anne Connors Belouin, he moved to Williamstown in 1977.
Mr. Belouin was employed by the Association for Community Living in Clarksburg in a vocational program.
He enjoyed watching and cheering for local youth sports teams and was a fan of the North Adams SteepleCats.
Besides his parents of Williamstown, he leaves a sister, Suzette Belouin-Sullivan of Los Angeles.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service to celebrate the life of local youth sports fan Stephen Peter Belouin, who died Friday, Oct. 12, 2007, will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Williams Inn by the Rev. Jill Graham.
A reception will follow at the Williams Inn. Because of Stephen's passion and love of local organized youth sports, memorial donations are suggested for the Stephen P. Belouin Youth Sports Fund, in care of FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA FUNERAL HOME, WEST CHAPEL, 521 West Main St., North Adams.
He also leaves a brother-in-law, Grant Sullivan; two longtime friends, Melvin Accetta and Scott Nichols; and cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and many wonderful neighbors on May and Summer Streets; his dog, Seasal; and the staff of Nonotuck, an inhouse agency which enabled Stephen to live on his own.
