John M. Bradley, 74

November 24, 2008

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — John M. Bradley, 74, of 77 Nutmeg Lane died Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, at home.

Born in North Adams on Jan.y 15, 1934, son of Michael and Anna Etman Bradley, he attended schools in Williamstown and graduated in 1952 from the former Williamstown High School, where he was member of the varsity football team.

He was a veteran of the Vermont National Guard, based in Bennington.

Mr. Bradley was employed for 20 years at the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams and then at the former General Electric Co. in Pittsfield for 30 years.

He was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church in North Adams. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and working on his computer. He was an avid and longtime Boston Red Sox fan.

He and his wife, the former Angeline Lampiasi, were married Sept. 27, 1958, in St. Anthony's Church.

Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Michael V. Bradley of South Easton, and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sister Joan Clancy.

FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 8:30 at St. Anthony of Padua Church in North Adams. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery in Williamstown.

Calling hours will be Friday from 5 to 7 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247. Memorial donations are suggested for VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire through funeral home.
