Edward F. Larabee, 73

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Edward Franklin "Junior" Larabee, 73, of 81 Henderson Road died Sunday, May 3, 2009, at his home.

Born at home on Henderson Road on Sept. 20, 1935, son of Samuel Franklin and Frances May Pratt Larabee, he attended local schools.

Mr. Larabee was employed as a laborer for several area farms and by several trucking companies. He was last employed by Hart's Trucking in Williamstown.

He loved to farm, enjoying gardening and raising cattle. He also loved cats.

He leaves two sisters, Mary Hardy of Pownal, Vt., and Rose Maynard of Williamstown; two brothers, David Larabee and Richard Larabee, both of Williamstown, and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

FUNERAL SERVICES — Funeral services for Mr. Larabee will take place Thursday, May 7, at 11 a.m. at Sherman Burbank Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Wednesday evening from 4 to 7 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Memorial donations can be made to the Berkshire Humane Society or the charity of the donor's choice through the funeral home.
