Mary R. Healey, 90

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Mary Rita Healey, 90, of 490 North St. died Monday, Feb. 1, 2010, at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Born in Williamstown on May 28, 1919, daughter of James and Mary Culliton Grady, she graduated from the former Williamstown High School. She attended Elms College and transferred to the former North Adams State College, where she graduated with a degree in education. She also graduated from Fischer College.
Mrs. Healey worked as a secretary in the president's office at Williams College for several years until leaving to raise her family.
She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church and a member of the Friends of School Music at Mount Greylock Regional High School.
Her husand, William J. Healey Sr., whom she married on Sept. 14, 1946, in St. Patrick's Church, died on Dec. 30, 2001.
She leaves two sons, William J. Healey Jr. and his wife, Margaret, of Whitman and Cornelius J. Healey and his wife, Anne, of Sharon; six grandchildren, Margaret Healey Linn, William J. Healey III, Michael Healey, Beth Healey, Matthew Healey and Meghan Healey, and two great-grandchildren, Alexander and Shawn Linn.
She was predeceased by her brothers John Grady and James Grady, and a sister in infancy.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mrs. Healey will be celebrated Saturday, Feb. 6, at 11 at St. Patrick's Church in Williamstown. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Saturday morning from 9 to 10:30 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Patrick's Food Pantry in care of the funeral home.
