WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Charlene Fisk, 67, of North Hoosac Road died Monday, May 17, 2010, after a long battle with ovarian cancer.
Born in Hoosick Falls, N.Y., on Sept. 4, 1942, she was the daughter of Albert T. and Doris Allen Kretzmer.
Mrs. Fisk enjoyed reading and writing poetry and was a published poet. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had a wonderful circle of friends who provided love, comfort and support, especially through her final months of illness.
She leaves her husband of 39 years, Gordon S. Fisk Jr.; three sons, Allen Fisk, James Fisk and Stephen Fisk; a daughter, Kenna Bressette and her fiance, Jay Waterman; her grandchildren Jedediah, Joshua and Jaycee Bressette, Johnathan DiGennaro, James Jr., Bryan and Janessa Fisk and Kristina, Kateline and Sarah Fisk and their mother, Tracie, and a great-grandchild, Kylee Bressette. She also leaves her beloved cat, Baxter.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mrs. Fisk will take place Tuesday, May 25, at 11 a.m. at First Congregational Church in Williamstown. Burial will be private.
There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Berkshire Humane Society through the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247.
