Christina Vareschi Lefebvre, 95

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Christina Ella Vareschi Lefebvre, 95, of 102 Park St., Bennington, Vt., formerly of Williamstown, died Friday, March 23, 2012, at Crescent Manor Care Centers in Bennington.
Born in Williamstown on Sept. 2, 1916, daughter of Wilfred and Bessie Leonard Turgeon, she attended North Adams schools and graduated from Drury High School. She was a longtime resident of Williamstown.
Mrs. Lefebvre was employed by the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams for 42 years, retiring in 1979.
She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church, a member of Le Cercle Francais and enjoyed reading and needlework.
Her first husband, Henry P. Vareschi, who she married in 1941, died on May 10, 1976.
Her husband, Albert Lefebvre, died in 1997.
She leaves a daughter, Jean Morrissey and her husband, James, of Bennington; a brother, William Turgeon of Pownal, Vt.; two grandchildren, Peter N. Palmer of Williamstown and Carrie Morrissey of Rutland, Vt.; a great-grandson, Nicholas Palmer, and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Another brother, Edward Turgeon, is deceased.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mrs. Lefebvre will be celebrated Saturday, March 31, at 11 from St. Patrick's Church in Williamstown. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Saturday morning from 9 to 10:30 at Flynn &Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams.
