WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Ursula Erselia Lepesqueur, 96, of 97 Luce Road died Monday, April 2, 2012, at Williamstown Commons.
Born in New York City on June 22, 1915, daughter of Raphael and Margaret Vitrone Paparillo, she attended schools there before moving to Williamstown in 1941.
Mrs. Lepesqueur was employed at the former Cornish Wire Co. on Water Street until her retirement. She first worked at the former Gaevaert Co. on Cole Avenue before the birth of her sons.
She was a member of the Parish of Sts. Patrick & Raphael in Williamstown. She loved to cook her favorite Italian food, dance and laugh and was extremely proud of and devoted to her grandsons.
Her husband, Maurice J. Lepesqueur, whom she married Feb. 15, 1941, died Dec. 22, 1976.
She leaves two sons, Eugene R. Lepesqueur of Williamstown and Paul R. Lepesqueur and his wife, Mary, of Canterbury, N.H.; two sisters, Rose Paparillo and Margaret Zaller, both of Glen Cove, N.Y.; two grandsons, Benjamin Lepesqueur of Fairfield, Vt., and Thomas Lepesqueur of Canterbury.
Her brother, Raphael Paparillo, died on June 4, 1951.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Services for Mrs. Lepesqueur will take place Thursday, April 12, at 11 a.m. at Sherman Burbank Memorial Chapel in Williamstown. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Thursday morning from 10 to 11 at Sherman Burbank Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested for the VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire through Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA 01247.
