Almeda M. Dubois, 99

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Almeda M. Dubois, 99, died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2002, at Sweet Brook Care Centers.

Born in Adams Nov. 8, 1902, daughter of Harry E. and Flora Delphy Miller, she moved to Williamstown as a child. She attended local schools.

Mrs. Dubois worked as a housekeeper, later working at the former Boyd's Corduroy Mill in Adams.

She and her husband, Ernest Exmere Dubois, whom she married Oct. 27, 1924, built their house on North Hoosac Road and lived there 48 years. After his death in 1983, she moved to North Adams.

She leaves a daughter, Helen Estes Horsman of Bourne; two sons, Gerald Melvin Dubois of Richmond and Ernest Clinton Dubois of Orleans; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral will Tuesday with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Patrick's Church. Burial in Eastlawn Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sweet Brook scholarship fund through George M. Hopkins Funeral Home, 61-67 Spring St., Williamstown MA 01267.
