Malvina Jolin, 95

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Malvina Jolin, 95, of 118 Church St. died Saturday, May 19, 2012, at the Sweet Brook Care Centers.

Born in Savoy on Oct. 28, 1916, a daughter of Albert and Alvina Cyr Bachand, she attended schools in North Adams.

Mrs. Jolin was employed at the Little Red School House in South Williamstown for several years and was a house cleaner and health aide to several families in the area.

She was a longtime communicant of the Parish of Sts. Patrick and Raphael and was a member of the Friendship Club at the Harper Center in Williamstown. She enjoyed crafts, knitting and sewing and was a member of TOPS.

Her husband, Alfred Jolin, died May 3, 1972.

She leaves a daughter, Teresa "Terry" Menesini of Yerington, Nev.; three sons, Francis Jolin of Lanesborough, Norman Jolin of Williamstown and Peter Jolin of North Carolina, 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her sons Alfred Jolin and David Jolin and grandson Alfred Jolin. Three sisters and three brothers are also deceased: Delina Hickey, Lorraine Richards, Edna Charron, and Alcide, Noel and Albert Bachand.

FUNERAL NOTICE — Graveside services for Mrs. Jolin will take place Thursday at 9 a.m. at the family plot in Eastlawn Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours. Memorial donations are suggested for the charity of the donor's choice through Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247.
