SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- Shea van den Broek scored two goals Friday to lead the Williams College field hockey team to a 4-1 win over Skidmore.

 

Emily Bachelor and Margo Bernardo also scored for Williams, which took a 4-0 lead.

 

Carson Stephenson and Gates Teneroicz split time in goal for Williams, combining for two saves.

 

Williams (2-0) goes to Tufts on Saturday.

 

Volleyball

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- Christina Conforti had eight kills and 13 digs Friday to help the Williams volleyball team take a three-set win at Union.

 

Kiley Wallace had a team-high 12 kills, and Lauren Kappila passed out 33 assists for Williams, which won by scores of 25-17, 25-22 and 25-10.

 

Williams (1-0) hosts Skidmore and Suffolk on Saturday.
