WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The Williams College volleyball team Saturday earned wins over Skidmore and Suffolk University to stay unbeaten this fall.

 

Against the Thoroughbreds, Lydia Kurtz had six kills, six digs and four aces in a three-set win.

 

Suffolk took Williams to four sets, but the hosts prevailed with 11 kills apiece from Kiley Wallace and Christina Conforti.

 

Williams (3-0) hosts Vassar on Wednesday.

 

Men’s Soccer

MEDFORD, Mass. -- Mati Cano scored early in the second half to lead Tufts to a 1-0 win over Williams in the NESCAC opener for both teams.

 

Michael Davis made five saves for Williams (1-1, 0-1), which goes to Skidmore on Tuesday.

 

Women’s Soccer

MEDFORD, Mass. -- Liz Reed scored in the 33rd minute to lead Tufts to a 1-0 win over Williams.

 

Chelsea Taylor made four saves for Williams (0-1-1, 0-1-1), which travels to Vermont to play Castleton State on Sunday.

 

Field Hockey

MEDFORD, Mass. -- Claire Gavin scored a third-quarter goal to give Tufts a 1-0 win over Williams.

 

Carson Stephenson made six saves for Williams (1-1, 0-1), which hosts Smith on Tuesday.
