WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass.-- Mario Fischetti ran for 113 yards and a touchdown Saturday to lead the Williams College football team to a 42-0 win over Colby.
 
Williams (4-0) goes to Hamilton on Saturday.
 
Women's Soccer
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The Williams women split their conference games over the weekend, beating Colby, 3-0, before falling to Bowdoin, 2-1, on Cole Field.
 
In Saturday's win, Tori Huang broke a scoreless tie with a goal in the 51st minute and Chelsea Taylor made one save to earn the shutout win in goal.
 
On Sunday, Bowdoin's Julia Adelmann scored her second goal of the game in the 61st minute to give the Polar Bears the win.
 
Williams (3-6-1, 1-5-1 NESCAC) goes out of conference Saturday to visit Eastern Connecticut.
 
Men's Soccer
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Williams' men earned a win and a tie on Cole Field over the weekend, blanking Colby, 2-0, and tying Bowdoin, 1-1.
 
Will Felitto had a the game-winner on Saturday with an unassisted goal in the 31st minute. Ben Diffley stopped six shots to earn the shutout win in goal.
 
On Sunday, Daniel Zhang scored early in the second half to erase a 1-0 Bowdoin lead. Diffley again was credited with six saves.
 
Williams (5-4-2, 2-3-2) hosts Westfield State on Wednesday night under the lights at Farley-Lamb Field.
 
Field Hockey
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Williams started the weekend with a 5-0 win over Colby and ended it with a 3-2 loss to Bowdoin on Sunday at Weston Field.
 
In Saturday's win, Liz Welch had a goal and assist, and Carson Stephenson and Gates Tenerowicz each made a save splitting time in goal.
 
On Sunday, Bowdoin scored twice to erase a 2-1 Williams lead in the first quarter, and the teams held one another scoreless the rest of the way.
 
Williams (9-3, 4-3) goes to Hamilton on Wednesday.
 
Men's Golf
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- Phillip Clifton carded a 75 and a 76 to lead Williams to a ninth-place showing out of nine teams at the two-day Skidmore Invitational at Saratoga National.
 
Women's Golf
SCARBOROUGH, Maine -- Tianyi Zhuang tied for fourth place to lead Williams to a third-place finish at the two-day NESCAC Qualifier.
 
Women's Cross Country
WESTFIELD, Mass. -- Molly FitzGibbons placed eighth Saturday to lead Williams to a third-place finish at the 25th annual James Earley Invitational at Stanley Park.
 
Men's Cross Country
WESTFIELD, Mass. -- Ryan Shea and Victor Cazabal placed 16th and 17th, respectively, to lead Williams to a sixth-place finish out of 21 teams at the James Earley Invitational.
