WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Chloe Heiting stopped 27 shots Saturday to backstop the Williams College women's hockey team to a 2-0 win over William Smith.

 

Ellia Chiang and Mghan Halloran each scored a goal for Williams (4-2), which is off until New Year's Day when it hosts Bowdoin.

 

Men's Basketball

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Porter Declan scored 24 points to lead Williams to a 74-61 win over Springfield College.

 

Cole Prowitt-Smith and Spencer Spivy finished with 15 and 14, respectively, in the win.

 

Williams (9-0) is off until Dec. 29 when it travels to York College of Pennsylvania.

 

Women's Basketball

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Maddy Mandyck had a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds to lead Williams to a 71-58 win over Wesleyan.

 

Williams' Maggie Meehan tied for game-high honors with 19 points.

 

Williams (5-5) heads to Nashville, Tenn., on Dec. 29 to face Salisbury University.
