TROY, N.Y. -- Mara Kipnis homered twice Thursday to lead the Williams College softball team to a double-header sweep at Rensselaer Polytechnic.

 

In Game 1, Mara Kipnis went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in a 13-5 win.

 

Vicky Trujillo went 4-for-5 with four RBIs, and Madison Mok struck out seven in a complete-game win in the circle.

 

Williams won the nightcap, 10-6, behind a 4-for-4 performance and another homer from Kipnis.

 

Ronni Ramos went 3-for-3, and Elyse Chan struck out eight for Williams (9-5).
