WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Williamstown Water Department will be flushing water mains beginning Monday, May 9, through Thursday, May 19, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and midnight, weather permitting. 

 

Flushing will not be done on Friday evenings or weekends.

 

Customers may experience some cloudy water and lower than normal pressure.

 

This is a semi-annual procedure to remove any sediment in the mains and check the operation of all hydrants.
