WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Bailey Burger-Moore hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh Friday to give the Williams College softball team a 6-5 win over Hamilton and coach Kris Herman the 800th win of her career.

Burger-Moore went 2-for-4 with a home run, and Ronni Ramos and Mara Kipnis also homered for Williams.

Elyse Chan earned the win in the circle, striking out a pair.

Herman won 339 games in 16 seasons her alma mater, Tufts University, before coming to Williams in 2004.

In addition to her personal milestone, Friday's win clinched a NESCAC playoff berth for Williams.

Williams (21-13, 5-5) hosts Hamilton for a double-header on Saturday starting at noon.
