Lee's Fraser Leads Team to Williams Invitational Win

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Lee's Thomas Fraser carded rounds of 70 and 74 to finish 2-over-par at Taconic Golf Club and lead the Rensselaer Polytechnic men's golf team to the championshp of this weekend's Williams Fall Invitational.
 
The Engineers finished a combined 15 strokes over par at the two-day event, 12 strokes better than runner-up Skidmore College.
 
Fraser, a senior for the Engineers, placed fifth last year at the Liberty League Championships and was named a Golf Coaches Association of America all-America Scholar.
 
Eighteen teams competed in this weekend's event.
 
The hosts from Williams placed fourth behind John Pagano and Will Rich, who each finished 6-over for the weekend and tied for 10th.
 
Women's Soccer
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Blakeley Buckingham scored late in the first half Sunday to give Williams a 1-0 win over Tufts.
 
Leyla Kamshad made 10 saves to earn the win in goal.
 
Williams (3-2, 2-1 NESCAC) goes to Colby on Saturday.
 
Men's Soccer
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Will Felitto scored his second goal of the game midway through the second half to erase a one-goal deficit and send Williams to a 2-2 tie against Tufts.
 
Ben Diffley made four saves for Williams (2-0-3, 1-0-1), which goes to Colby on Saturday.
 
Field Hockey
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Kylie Rosenquest scored in overtime to give Tufts a 2-1 win over Williams.
 
Pilar Torres and Kiki Higgins scored for the hosts.
 
Carson Stephenson and Gates Tenerowicz split time in Williams' goal, stopping nine shots.
 
Williams (3-2, 0-2) goes to Colby on Saturday.
