MIDDLETOWN, Conn. -- Kelly McCarthy and Catherine Torres each scored a goal Saturday to lead the Williams College field hockey team to a 2-1 win over Wesleyan.

 

Carson Stephenson and Gates Tenewicz each playd a half in Williams' goal, combining for one save.

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Matt Banbury threw for a touchdown and ran for a touchdown to lead Hamilton to a 15-13 win over Williams.

 

Joe Nicholas ran for 71 yards to lead Williams (1-4), which goes to Trinity on Saturday.

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. -- Henry Kirkman scored a goal for Williams in a 1-1 tie at Wesleyan.

 

Ben Diffley stopped three shots for Williams (4-1-7, 2-1-4), which hosts Hamilton on Wednesday.

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. -- Leyla Kamshad stopped five shots to backstop Williams to a 0-0 tie against Wesleyan.

CORTLAND, N.Y. -- Williams split a pair of matches with Clarkson and SUNY Cortland.

 

Against Clarkson, Marit Hoyem had 13 kills, and Lauren Kauppila had 34 assits in a four-set win.
