CLINTON, N.Y. -- Maddie Tix scored midway through the second period to give the Williams College women's hockey team a 1-0 win over Hamilton.

 

Erin Pye made 30 saves to earn the shutout in goal for Williams (8-5, 3-4 NESCAC), which faces Hamilton again on Saturday.

 

Men's Hockey

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Nicholas Rashkovsky scored midway through overtime to give Williams a 3-2 win over Albertus Magnus.

 

Sam Anderson and Jonah Gold scored a goal apiece, and Cal Sandquist made 29 saves for Williams (4-8-1), which goes to Plattsburgh State on Saturday.

 

Women's Basketball

WATERVILLE, Maine -- Maddy Mandyck scored 21 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead Williams to a 63-50 win over Colby.

 

Mandyck also blocked six shots for Williams (11-5, 2-1), which goes to Bowdoin on Saturday.

 

Men's Basketball

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Spencer Spivy scored 20 points to lead Williams to a 79-70 win over Colby.

 

Jack Lawson scored 13 for Williams (14-1, 2-1).
