WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Maddy Mandyck had a double-double Saturday to lead the Williams College women's basketball team to a 62-55 win over Bates in the NESCAC tournament quater-finals.

 

Mandyck scored 15 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.

 

Mia Holtze scored a team-high 16 points for Williams (18-7), which faces Trinity next weekend in the league semi-finals at Tufts.

 

Men's Basketball

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Nate Karren scored 16 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, and the Williams men came back from a nine-point half-time deficit to earn a 62-47 win over Trinity in the NESCAC quarter-finals.

 

Dalton's Brandon Roughley scored 10 points for top-seeded Williams (22-3), which will be home next weekend in the league semi-finals.

 

Men's Hockey

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Hamilton scored midway through the third period to take a 1-0 win over Williams.

 

Evan Ruschill stopped 37 shots for Williams, which finishes the regular season 7-15-2 overall and 5-11-2 in the NESCAC.
