AMHERST, Mass. -- The Hamilton women's hockey team scored twice in the last 1 minute, 1 second to earn a 3-1 win over Williams in the championship game of the New England Small College Athletic Conference tournament on Sunday.

 

Williams' Leah Rubenshteyn scored early in the third period to erase a one-goal deficit.

 

But Hamilton's Abby Smith scored with 1:01 left in regulation. Ten seconds later, Hyla Mosher gave the Continentals some insurance with an empty net goal.

 

Erin Pye stopped 30 shots for Williams, which finishes with a record of 11-12-1.
