WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Jesse Shapiro scored in overtime Saturday to give the Williams College men's lacrosse team an 11-10 win over Amherst.

 

Finlay MacKnight and Ryan Johnson each had a hat trick, and Matthew Freitas made 15 saves for Williams (7-5, 5-3 NESCAC), which hosts MIT on Tuesday.

 

Women's Lacrosse

AMHERST, Mass. -- Amherst's Morgan Lebek scored with 1 minute, 39 seconds left in regulation to give her team an 11-10 win over Williams.

 

Franny Donohue scored three times, and Caroline Pratt and Anj Raman combined for seven saves for Williams (10-2, 5-2), which hosts Tufts on Sunday.

 

Baseball

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Amherst took both ends of a double-header Saturday to complete a three-game weekend sweep of Williams.

 

Williams (9-13, 3-6) hosts Union on Wednesday.

 

Softball

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Tufts swept Williams on Saturday by scores of 4-3 and 7-2 on Cole Field.

 

Williams (9-11, 3-3) hosts Colby for a double-header on Sunday.
