WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Elizabeth Scarcella scored a pair of goals Saturday to lead the Williams field hockey team to a 4-2 win over Trinity.

 

Gates Tenerowicz made three saves to earn the win in goal for Williams (9-4, 6-2 NESCAC), which goes to Bates on Sunday.

 

Football

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Spencer Fetter threw for 242 yards and four touchdowns to lead Trinity to a 41-14 win over Williams.

 

Colin McCabe ran for 103 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

 

Williams (2-4) goes to Bates on Saturday.

 

Women's Soccer

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Brianna Wright scored in the 82nd minute to snap a 1-1 tie and send Williams to a 3-1 win over Trinity.

 

Aria Bozzi-Mackay stopped two shots to earn the win in goal for Williams (9-2-3, 6-1-2), which hosts Middlebury on Tuesday.

 

Volleyball

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Morgan Daetz had a double-double with 18 assists and 12 digs to help Williams beat Babson in four sets.

 

Williams (12-8) dropped a five-set decision to No. 25 Springfield College in the second half of Saturday's double-header.

 

Williams hosts Colby on Friday.
