WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — On Saturday, Feb. 3 at 2 pm, the Clark Art Institute presents a concert by New York-based pianist Umi Garrett.
The event takes place in the Clark's auditorium, located in the Manton Research Center.
Garrett performs works by J. S. Bach, Franz Schubert, and Clara Schumann, and works composed by Williamstown resident and established classical composer Stephen Dankner. Garrett has recorded three solo albums and an upcoming debut chamber album of Ludwig van Beethoven's Five Sonatas for Piano and Cello with Emily Mantone. She is a proud recipient of the Kovner Fellowship at the Juilliard School, where she currently studies with Hung Kuan Chen.
