The three-school district last spring went through a periodic review by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education that focused on standards ranging from "licensure and professional development" to "parent/student/community engagement" to "equal access." Williamstown Works to Address Water Main BreaksiBerkshires.com Staff, 01:34PM / Wednesday, September 18, 2024 | | WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Department of Public Works Wednesday afternoon worked to address two water main breaks on the east end of Main Street. Both breaks were near the Spruces Park on Main Street (Route 2), and Williamstown Police advised in a social media post that water services in the area could be affected. Residents signed up for the town’s CodeRED emergency notification system also received a phone call alerting them to the issue. The water main breaks came on a busy day for emergency services in the town.
