Transform a box into a miniature theater using special images from the Clark's collection. Express yourself with comedy/tragedy mask-making. Then watch as director, writer, and educator Rudy Ramirez stages an original theatrical performance. Head into the galleries to uncover the drama of Clark artworks with a gallery guide on world-famous nineteenth-century actress Sarah Bernhardt. Roughley Lifts Williams Men in Conference Semi-Final| 10:58PM / Saturday, February 24, 2024 | |
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Dalton's Brandon Roughley scored 13 points Saturday to lead the Williams College men's basketball team to a 57-43 win over Amherst in the NESCAC semi-finals. Roughley also had three rebounds, two blocks and two steals in 24 minutes of work. Cole Prowitt-Smith scored 10 points and grabbed seven boards for Williams, which shot just 33 percent from the field but held the Mammoths to 28 percent shooting. Williams (21-5) hosts Trinity on Sunday at noon for the conference title. WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — On Friday, March 1 at 10:15 am, the Clark Art Institute hosts the next in its series of free tours of its permanent collection galleries designed specifically to meet the interests of new parents/caregivers and their infants. Participants should meet at the Clark's main Admissions desk. The program is specially designed to provide new parents and caregivers with a stress-free experience that offers chances to socialize with others who are caring for young infants. Williamstown Community Preschool Installs New Signage |
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Williamstown Community Preschool began sprucing up its new home by hiring local sign maker Lindsay Neathawk, owner of Neathawk Signs and Design, to create a 3D sign for the business.
Neathawk installed the sign late Monday afternoon that features multicolored hand prints from the children as the leaves of a tree poking out of the top. Underneath the name and address "a place to grow" is written. The children's hand prints were taken at the school and Neathawk then scanned them into her design programs to create the sign.
