 WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — On Friday, Dec. 1 at 10:15 am, the Clark Art Institute hosts a tour of its permanent collection galleries for new parents/caregivers and infants. The event is free. Participants should meet at the Clark’s main Admissions desk. In this special program, new parents and caregivers bring their infants into the galleries for a guided visit and the opportunity to socialize with other community members in a casual environment. The informal tour includes a unique look at the Clark's permanent collection, featuring an array of works by a variety of artists. Each month offers a different selection of artworks. Williamstown Community Preschool Installs New Signage |
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Williamstown Community Preschool began sprucing up its new home by hiring local sign maker Lindsay Neathawk, owner of Neathawk Signs and Design, to create a 3D sign for the business.
Neathawk installed the sign late Monday afternoon that features multicolored hand prints from the children as the leaves of a tree poking out of the top. Underneath the name and address "a place to grow" is written. The children's hand prints were taken at the school and Neathawk then scanned them into her design programs to create the sign.
