 WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Clark Art Institute kicks off its three-part Music at the Manton Concert series for the spring season with a performance by Myriam Gendron and P.G. Six on Friday, April 26 at 7 pm. The performance takes place in the Clark's auditorium, located in the Manton Research Center. Williams College Receives Anonymous $25M Gift to Support Projects Staff Reports ,

 WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Select Board could be going back to the drawing board on a proposal to designate an area of the Spruces Park for off-leash dogs. At last week's meeting, Andrew Hogeland gave his colleagues an update on a topic that has been discussed at length by the board this year. Hogeland said he had consulted with other stakeholders in the park, specifically the Hoosic River Watershed Association, Williamstown Rural Lands Foundation and town Conservation Commission.  WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Neighbors of a proposed subdivision off Summer Street last week asked the Planning Board to take a critical look at the project, which the residents say is out of scale to the neighborhood. Northern Berkshire Habitat for Humanity was at Town Hall last Tuesday to present to the planners a preliminary plan to build five houses on a 1.75 acre lot currently owned by town's Affordable Housing Trust. The subdivision includes the construction of a road from Summer Street onto the property to provide access to five new building lots of about a quarter-acre apiece. WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The remains of a woman reported missing in March, Fae Morgana Barbone, have been found off the Taconic Crest Trail in New York State. Barbone, 40, of Plymouth County, was reported missing just days before her car was found on March 19 at the Mount Berlin trailhead; it had been there for at least a week.  BOSTON, Mass. -- Laura Stephen of Great Barrington finished 26th in the women's 60-64 age group at Monday's Boston Marathon, the top Berkshire County finisher in their division at the 128th running of the event. Stephen crossed the finish line in 3 hours, 42 minutes, 52 seconds, 12,633rd in the overall field of more than 30,000 runners who made the trek from Hopkinton to Copley Square in Boston. More than a dozen Berkshire County residents are listed among the finishers on the Boston Athletic Association website.
